Come join us for a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday if you are not busy. Just let us know you are coming and we will save you a seat!

I am grateful for ALL that has happened this year. I trust God that it is all for good. So even though it may seem bad to me, I have to trust God that it is good and move on. God is in control, not me. I have much to do this week that I would rather not do: file the six month review forms for the Certificate of Need Program that the State of Kentucky mandates, fill out forms for the state unemployment insurance for our employees and obtain unemployment insurance, do more work for the State Medicaid Office to obtain our Medicaid Provider Number so we can be reimbursed by the Medicaid system for the care we are giving to two of our members, file a sign permit form with the city of Lexington so we can legally hang another sign (our former sign blew down yesterday and we don’t plan to put it back), work to either get our internet and static IP address to work or switch to Windstream, work to get our time clock information to port over to our QuickBooks system for payroll and invoices, work to get our website to be fully operational (right now it is not as it should be), and last but not least, work to get more members. I like getting new members, but I don’t like being a salesperson.

The work that I enjoy is meeting new people, training employees, creating new programs for the members, giving tours, improving the clubhouse and grounds, writing the newsletter and other material, and spending time with employees and club members. In fact, these don’t even seem like work. I am grateful for all of it: what I like to do and what I don’t like to do…God’s will be done.

May you and yours have a super thankful and healthy Thanksgiving!!
