Lorraine

Lorraine is a Club ANSR here at Aging With Grace. I have only known her since October 14, but she has continually impressed me since then. During her interview, Lorraine said that she was a hard worker. That she is. Lorraine came to work for us when her baby was only a few weeks old, but Lorraine has never called in sick or been late to work.

Lorraine is a devoted wife and mother, and puts her family first. She has taken time out during her shift to do what new mothers need to do to make their babies as healthy as possible, and I respect her for that. She also has a little girl that needs her attention. Having been a young wife and mother myself, I realize that Lorraine actually has two jobs: one that pays and one that doesn’t.

Last week, Lorraine came to work on her day off  to deliver homemade cookies for the members and staff. She brought her baby and little girl, knowing that our members would be cheered by seeing her children. I so appreciate Lorraine’s love and generosity.

I can always count on Lorraine to agree to tackle any task I ask of her, even if it is not in her job description. She has made signs (which had to be cleaned first), a big bow, covered the bulletin board with Christmas paper, and other tasks. Lorraine always leaves her work area clean and tidy.

Exercise sessions are extra fun with Lorraine. She is careful to make sure the members are doing the exercises correctly and that they have the weights, bands, chairs, etc., that they need to get the most benefit. The members and I can tell that Lorraine really cares.

Patience, kindness, humor are just some of the words that come to mind to describe Lorraine. Thank you, Lorraine, for all you do here at Aging With Grace. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with you and your family.
