There is a peace that has come over me during this past week. I know that God is in control and whatever happens is His will for my life. I have known that for a long time. Because I am human, however, I worry, I get caught up in the demands of this life, I fail to lean on and trust Him. God is bigger than any problem in this world and able to overcome anything, so I am able to rest assured that everything will be alright. All I have to do is my best, and move forward, working hard, serving others, loving everyone (even enemies) and obeying God’s commands and the laws of man.

My health is good, and I am so thankful. I went for a long walk this morning. What a beautiful day, a precious gift for this time of year. Have you noticed how the light has changed? The sunlight is brighter these past few days, which seems earlier than normal. I have been aware of how the light changes around my birthday on March 8, but this year it seems to be here earlier. And the days are a little bit longer. Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, which means an early spring! http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/02/02/465253970/groundhog-day-punxsutawney-phil-did-not-see-his-shadow

By the way, if you have not seen the movie, Groundhog Day, with Bill Murray, please do yourself a favor and watch it for a good laugh. And for a reminder that life is fragile and the most important part of life are the relationships we have.

May you and yours make some happy memories this week and be blessed!
